Environmental biophysics of microorganisms

Otti has successfully led a bid to create a new special interest group (SIG) on biologically active fluids within the recently established UK Fluids Network (UKFN). The SIG brings together 38 other research leaders in biologically active fluids across different disciplines (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering and Life Sciences). The UKFN has provided £12k of funding for the SIG to organise biannual meetings and student workshops, which will facilitate new research collaborations and further funding bids.
