Otti interviewed for Naked Scientists Optogenetics feature

Otti and our collaborator Kyriacos Leptos were interviewed in a Naked Scientists popular science feature on optogenetics, the control of neurons using light. This exciting new field was born out of the isolation of channel rhodopsin, the light sensitive protein gating ion channels in the eyespot of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, one of the model species we work with.
