Who are we?

The Biologically Active Fluids Special Interest Group started as a collection of UK-based academics working on fluid flows involving an "active" biological component - for instance suspensions of swimming bacteria, flows in energy producing bioreactors, and biofilm formation - and has grown into an international seminar series with over 160 members.
