The Algal Innovation Centre (AIC) is opening at the University of Cambridge Botanic Garden on the 9 May 2016 from 2pm to 6pm. Otti will be giving a flash talk, together with academics working on algae and representatives from the algal industry, including our partners Variconaqua solutions. The AIC is an exciting new space to explore the scale-up of algal growth using pilot-scale photobioreactors. Two of our pilot photobioreactors will be sited at the AIC to explore if the effects of the physics of swimming can improve algal growth efficiency and harvesting.
